Hello, and welcome to my personal page! I am Nozliya Normurodova, a dedicated advocate for gender equality and human rights. Throughout my career, I have committed myself to advancing social justice and empowering individuals of all genders.

 

About Me: I hold a Doctor of Science degree and am honored to be recognized as a Professor in this field. With extensive experience working in various non-profit organizations and grassroots movements, my journey in the realm of gender rights began during my college days. I actively participated in student-led initiatives focused on achieving gender equity ;Member of The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD); Erasmus international expert and educational reformer.

 

Mission and Vision: My mission is to forge a world where every individual, regardless of their gender identity, can thrive without the shadow of discrimination, violence, or oppression. I envision a society where gender equality is not an aspiration but a living reality. Every person should have equal opportunities to flourish and achieve their potential.

 

Work and Achievements: Over the years, I have spearheaded numerous gender rights campaigns and projects some of which include:

Orchestrating a city-wide awareness campaign on gender-based violence, reaching thousands with messages of solidarity and support for survivors.

Collaborating with local authorities to institute gender-inclusive policies in educational institutions and workplaces, cultivating an environment of inclusivity.

Conducting workshops and training sessions on gender sensitivity, targeting educators, community leaders, and law enforcement personnel.

 

Advocacy and Activism: I am a firm believer in advocacy as a catalyst for profound change. My endeavors encompass engaging with policymakers, community leaders, and the public to raise awareness about gender issues and push for policy reforms. My advocacy efforts include:

 

Active participation in national and international conferences, facilitating discussions on gender rights and exchanging best practices -

Media interviews that spotlight pressing gender-related concerns and challenge societal norms

Amplifying the voices of marginalized communities through diverse platforms -

 

Publications and Articles: My contributions extend to several articles and publications on gender rights and related subjects. Some of my work is housed in reputable journals and websites, where I delve into topics such as gender stereotypes, intersectionality, and the repercussions of gender norms on mental well-being.
