It's great to hear that TSUULL is implementing the Erasmus project "Pathways to Empowerment in Gender-Based Violence Prevention" in collaboration with NGOs from various countries! This international partnership can contribute significantly to addressing gender-based violence (GBV) on a broader scale - https://www.terrampacis.org/resources/training-courses/gender-based-violence-prevention-measures--218.html. Here's how the project could be structured with the involvement of NGOs from Norway, Malta, Italy, Greece, Canada, and Africa:
Cross-Cultural Collaboration and Exchange:
We Established regular communication channels among all partner NGOs to share insights, experiences, and best practices related to GBV prevention and empowerment - https://uza.uz/uz/posts/erasmus-ning-yangi-loyi-alari-amaliy-zharayenga-tdi-31-01-2020. https://t.me/s/gulduuz/393?q=%23%D0%9E%D0%A2%D0%9C_%D1%8F%D0%BD%D0%B3%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B8
Organized exchange programs, workshops, and virtual conferences where representatives from each country can learn from one another's approaches and strategies - https://tsuull.uz/uz/content/pathways-empowerment-gender-based-violence-prevention-project-2020-2022
Localized Awareness Campaigns:
Each NGO can design and implement localized awareness campaigns tailored to the cultural, social, and linguistic contexts of their respective countries. These campaigns should address specific challenges and misconceptions related to GBV.
Collaborated on the creation of multimedia resources (videos, posters, infographics) that can be translated and adapted to suit the needs of different communities.
Capacity Building Workshops:
Rotated hosting capacity building workshops in partner countries, covering topics such as effective GBV prevention strategies, trauma-informed care, legal rights, and survivor support.
Invited experts from various fields, including psychology, law, sociology, and gender studies, to provide comprehensive training.
Sharing Best Practices:
Created a digital repository or platform where each partner NGO can share their successful initiatives, case studies, and program outcomes.
Regularly organized virtual meetings or webinars where representatives can present their achievements and learnings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Empowerment Programs for Survivors:
Developed joint empowerment programs that incorporate elements of economic empowerment, psychological support, and skill-building to help survivors regain control over their lives.
Share resources and materials for survivor-focused workshops, such as self-defense training, self-care practices, and entrepreneurship skills.
Advocacy and Policy Change:
Collaborated on advocacy efforts to influence policy changes in all partner countries. Pool resources to conduct research, gather data, and present evidence to policymakers.
Jointly participated in international forums, conferences, and seminars to raise awareness of the project's goals and advocate for gender equality and GBV prevention.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Collaborated on designing a unified monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the impact of the project in each partner country.
Regularly reviewed project indicators, data collection methods, and evaluation results to make informed adjustments and improvements.
Sustainability and Long-Term Impact:
Developed a sustainability plan to ensure that the project's initiatives continue beyond the Erasmus funding period.
Explored opportunities for continued collaboration, joint funding applications, and knowledge-sharing even after the project's completion.
