TSUULL Gender Empowerment Programs

Our Programs support the career development of women students at Alisher Navo’I Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature by means of practical courses many of which run by students themselves. In this way, they become independent financially and are able to teach/learn skills useful and beneficial for their living.

Programs aim to reshape the women power through a range of activities and initiatives building empowering networks of identifying women who are enrolled at TSUULL through:

Talented girls

We encourage all women to develop their practical skills  as cooking, sewing, hair-dressing and toy-making so that they learn proper planning and preparation skills  while contributing in a positive way to the health of themselves and their family and friends.  Making new friends  encourages them to be more successful in their studies and in turn may help to be create a  happy life.

Women engagement

Nowadays, women's engagement is no longer limited to traditional gender roles. In recent years, we have witnessed a significant shift in societal norms, enabling women to participate and excel in previously male-dominated fields. Therefore, our university regularly organizes conferences and forums to involve women in a modern society, make them more active and self-confident.

Qizlar gapirsin

This program is a unique podcast which focuses on the most vulnerable topics regarding gender equality. We invite world-leading researchers and volunteers who are deeply encouraged by gender issues. You may learn a lot and benefit from taking insights in a very sensitive but important issues. This is very essential where there are a lot of women need protection and by speaking out and discussing.

Wiki education

The Wikipedia Education Program is a global initiative that encourages and supports educators and students to contribute to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects as part of their academic activities.

 

Zakovat

We invite you to have intellectually entertaining discussion with our students and staff regarding the topic that we choose together. If you are quick-witted and a very gifted student and consider yourself to be well-rounded person, you are welcome to participate in our intellectual competitions and discussions to check your abilities.

 

TSUULL Women's Empowerment Initiatives

 

The pioneering TSUULL Gender Empowerment Programs are dedicated to fostering the professional growth of female students at Alisher Navo’I Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. These programs are crafted as a collection of hands-on courses, several of which are led by students themselves. Through this innovative approach, participants not only achieve financial independence but also acquire invaluable skills that enhance their livelihoods.

 

Our programs are meticulously designed to revolutionize the role of women by offering a diverse range of activities and strategic initiatives. By creating robust networks and identifying female students enrolled at TSUULL, we aim to cultivate a strong sense of empowerment among them. Through these efforts, we intend to:

 

TSUULL Empower Her Programs:

 

Empower Her Career Advancement Track: This program focuses on providing female students with comprehensive resources, mentorship, and practical training to excel in their chosen fields. Through workshops, seminars, and networking events, participants gain the confidence and skills needed to break barriers and thrive in their careers.

 

Women in Leadership Symposium: EmpowerHer hosts an annual symposium that brings together accomplished women leaders from various industries to share their experiences, insights, and strategies for success. This platform aims to inspire and empower female students to aspire to leadership roles and effect positive change in their communities.

 

Financial Freedom Workshops: Financial independence is a cornerstone of empowerment. This series of workshops equips participants with essential financial literacy skills, teaching them about budgeting, investing, and planning for their future. By gaining control over their finances, female students are better positioned to pursue their aspirations.

 

Skills for Life Sessions: Empower Her believes in holistic development. These interactive sessions cover a wide array of practical skills, from communication and negotiation to self-care and time management. By nurturing these life skills, participants are prepared to tackle challenges and embrace opportunities in both their personal and professional lives.

 

Entrepreneurship Empowerment Incubator: This program nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit within female students. It provides mentorship, resources, and guidance to help them develop and launch their own ventures. By fostering innovation and business acumen, Empower Her encourages women to become creators and leaders in the business world.

 

Community Outreach Initiatives: Empower Her is committed to giving back. This program involves collaboration with local organizations on initiatives that address gender-related issues in the wider community. Through volunteering and advocacy, participants actively contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
