THE ZULFIYA STATE PRIZE

The Zulfiya State Prize is awarded to show due respect to the respectable female breed in our country, to increase their position and influence in our society, to bring up a healthy and mature generation, to encourage the girls who are becoming an example to the youth with their talent and exemplary work.



The Zulfiya State Prize is awarded to talented girls aged fourteen to thirty who have achieved particular success in education, science, literature, culture, art, sports and social activities. The Zulfiya State Prize is awarded annually to two applicants from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent. The Zulfiya State Prize is awarded for outstanding achievements of the applicant over the past two years, for special merits in education, science, literature, culture, art, sports and the public sphere.


Each award is 50 times the minimum monthly salary. Students of schools, lyceums, and colleges who are winners of the state award named after Zulfia are admitted to higher educational institutions in their chosen fields without an exam, they are awarded a badge and a diploma.

The Zulfiya State Prize is awarded by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the conclusions of the Zulfiya State Prize Commission, which has thoroughly studied public opinion and comprehensively discussed the activities of applicants.


The Zulfiya State Prize is awarded to talented women between the ages of fourteen and thirty who have made special achievements in the fields of education, science, literature, culture, art, sports, information technology, and community activities.


THE PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan established for assignment to students is distributed separately for bachelor and magistracy based on one scholarship for each of the directions: agriculture and water management, engineering and computer science, health and social welfare, socio- humanitarian and social sciences, natural sciences, business and management, pedagogy, culture, art and sport, foreign languages, law and international relations, journalism.



The scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is appointed to the students of the last year of study, the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, (for bachelor and magistracy separately) of state higher educational institutions according to the results of a competitive selection conducted by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.


2,191,541 sum money is given to the holders of the Presidential scholarship.


Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan considers applications for scholarships once a year. Documents are accepted from August 1 to August 15, and consideration is from September 10 to September 25.


Students of state scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan retain the right to be sent abroad to continue their studies in magistracy (for bachelor scholarship holders) and in postgraduate course (for masters scholarship holders) within two years after graduating.


The candidates should be the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and bachelor or magistracy of state higher educational institutions.


NAVO'I SCHOLARSHIP

The Navoi Scholarship is a prestigious educational grant offered by the government of Uzbekistan, named after the famous Uzbek poet and philosopher Alisher Navoi. This scholarship aims to support talented students in pursuing higher education both domestically and internationally. The application process typically involves submitting academic records, letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and sometimes an interview.



Students of the last two years (3rd, 4th years) who have mastered all subjects with excellence (25% at most) and at least 2 articles (or theses) have been published can apply for the state scholarship named after Navo’i.


1 461 028 sum money is given to the holders of the Presidential scholarship.


The documents will be accepted by Orifjon Olimjanov, the leader of the primary organization of the university's Youth Union, until June 25 of this year.

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan reviews recommendations for the appointment of scholarships once a year. The period of review is September 10-25.


Depriving students of state scholarships during the academic year for failure to learn daily lessons, violation of academic discipline and academic ethics can be carried out by the orders of the relevant ministries and agencies according to the submissions of the state higher education institutions.

FULBRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP

The Fulbright Scholarship is an international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. Established in 1946, it aims to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries through educational and cultural exchanges. The Fulbright Program has fostered cross-cultural understanding and created lasting partnerships between individuals and institutions around the world.



The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is open to all fields of study except the medical sciences concerning direct patient care. Medical graduates may pursue programs in Chemistry, Biology, Public Health or Hospital Administration.


Visa support, tuition and fees, health insurance coverage, monthly stipend, books and supplies, international airfare to and from the U.S.

After the application deadline, all submitted online applications undergo a technical review. Applications that pass the technical review will then be reviewed by an independent reading panel that will evaluate and score each application based on a set of standard criteria. Applicants with the highest scores will then be invited to an interview, held at the U.S. Embassy. Nominations will be made from the top candidates, after the interviews. All nominated candidates will be requested to register for TOEFL and GRE/GMAT. The nominated candidates are entitled to an exemption from the test fees by vouchers. Vouchers will be distributed by the U.S. Embassy. Final grantee selection is contingent upon the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Board’s (FSB) approval, available funding, and successful academic placement. The selected grantees are expected to travel to their host universities in the U.S. in Spring-Fall 2025.


Applicants should have an evidence of ambition, high motivation, serious commitment and leadership potential and desire to further the Fulbright Program and give back to your home country upon returning.

ORHUN SCHOLARSHIP

The ORHUN Scholarship is a program designed to support students pursuing higher education in various fields. It typically aims to provide financial assistance to talented individuals who may face financial barriers in accessing quality education. Aims to promote educational access and equity, often focusing on underrepresented or disadvantaged groups.



Applicants should be student of higher education institutions based on common history, culture and language heritage.


Scholarships or Grants: Some programs offer financial aid to cover tuition fees, travel expenses, or living costs. Stipends: Monthly stipends may be provided to help with daily expenses. Tuition Waivers: Students might not have to pay tuition at the host institution.


Check your university's official website, particularly the international office or student exchange program section. They often provide information on available exchange programs and application procedures.


Applications will be reviewed by the program coordinators or a selection committee. They will assess academic qualifications, motivation, and suitability for the program.


Applicants must follow a defined application process, which may include submitting essays, recommendation letters, and transcripts by a certain deadline.


CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIP

The Chevening Scholarship is an international scholarship program funded by the UK government. It aims to develop global leaders by providing opportunities for outstanding students from around the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees at UK universities. Chevening Scholars become part of a global network of alumni, providing opportunities for collaboration and professional development. The scholarship aims to foster long-term relationships between the UK and other countries while empowering future leaders with education and skills.



You must ensure that you meet the minimum work-experience requirement for the scholarship before submitting your Chevening application. Chevening Scholarships require that applicants have at least two years of work experience. If you do not already have the required level of work experience, you will be unable to submit your application.

You can apply for this scholarship without IELTS, however, you may need to prove your English proficiency to the university you applied to. Also, not all Chevening partner universities require IELTS; most of them accept the PTE (Pearson Test of English) or TOEFL as an alternative English proficiency test.
