Greetings, and welcome to my personal webpage! I am Gulnoza Jurayeva, a passionate advocate for gender equality and human rights. Throughout my career, I am dedicated to advancing social justice, human rights, and gender equality.

 

About Me: With extensive involvement in various non-profit organizations and grassroots movements, my journey in the realm of gender rights commenced during my high school years. Additionally, I serve as the chairperson of the Women’s Affairs Council at Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. Mission and Vision: My mission entails creating a world where every individual can prosper without oppression, irrespective of their race, religion, or gender. It is imperative to extend both material and moral support to women in their educational pursuits, ensuring conducive conditions for them. My vision revolves around a society where gender equality is not merely an aspiration but a tangible reality. Each person should have equitable opportunities to thrive and realize their potential. In order for women and girls to spend their free time meaningfully at this university, under my guidance, “Nafis fazilat” - preparation of pastries and salads, “Marvarid goʻzallik sirlari” - hairstyles; such clubs as “Tikuvchilik” are active  and provide employment.

Work and Achievements: Over the years, I have actively participated in numerous national and international human rights conferences. One notable instance was my involvement in the international conference on "Being a Woman in the Turkic World" at esteemed Bursa Uludag University in Turkey. This conference brought together representatives from various Turkic countries, international organizations, and human rights advocacy agencies. Discussions encompassed the roles of women in Turkic nations' statehood, their contributions to science and culture, and contemporary challenges. The event shed light on historical traditions, the role of women in family and society, and their present-day status in state and social spheres. Globally, multiple projects are underway to safeguard women's rights and enhance their participation in societal affairs, an issue that also features prominently in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Advocacy and Activism: My advocacy extends to defending human rights in diverse scenarios, particularly pertaining to gender equality. I collaborate with politicians, community leaders, and the public to raise awareness about gender-related concerns and advocate for policy reforms. Some highlights of my advocacy work include active participation in national and international conferences, facilitating discussions on gender rights, and offering meaningful assistance to women and girls in education and leisure activities.
