II. The Analysis of statistics regarding the university academic and student staff.
2.1. Statistics of the courses of students who study in the form of full-time education per year
Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in the 2021-2022 academic year received a total of 3360 students in the form of bachelor's education. In the department (currently the department of mother tongue and literature education), i.e. 971 students.
The statistics of the rest of the students are as follows:
1. Uzbek philology - 873 students;
2. Translation theory and practice: English language - 578 students;
3. Translation theory and practice: French language - 40 students;
4. Theory and practice of translation: German language - 45 students;
5. Theory and practice of translation: Russian language - 107 students;
6. Folklore and dialectology - 50 students;
7. Uzbek language in foreign-language groups (for Russian-speaking groups) - 384 students;
8. Practical philology - 75 students;
9. Publishing work - 90 students;
10. Computer linguistics - 45 students;
11. Text and literary source studies (Uzbek language) - 75 students.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, the undergraduate education of Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature included 13 courses. Most of them, i.e. 1079 students, are in the field of mother tongue and literature education. The statistics of the rest of the students are as follows:
1. Uzbek philology - 970 students;
2. Theory and practice of translation: English – 643 students;
3. Translation theory and practice: French language - 46 students;
4. Theory and practice of translation: German language - 50 students;
5. Translation theory and practice: Russian language - 119 students;
6. Folklore and dialectology - 57 students;
7. Uzbek language in foreign-language groups (for Russian-speaking groups) - 427 students;
8. Practical philology - 83 students;
9. Sociology - 20 students;
10. Publishing work - 103 students;
11. Computer linguistics - 55 people;
12. Text and literary source studies (Uzbek language) - 82 people.
2.2. Statistics of students studying at the Master's degree in the cross-section of directions
The university also accepted many students at the master's level in the 2021-2022 academic year. If university gets acquainted with the statistics of the students studying in the Master's specialty, there are 10 educational areas at this stage. In the 2021-2022 academic year, 330 graduate students studied at the university.
Uzbek language and literature is the direction that has received the most masters, the number of students in it is 81.
Out of 330 students, 280 are girls and 50 are boys. The statistics of the remaining routes are as follows:
1. Literature - 75 students;
2. Uzbek language and literature - 81 students;
3. Literary theory - 12 students;
4. Folklore and dialectology - 25 students;
5. Text and literary source studies - 50 students;
6. Computer linguistics - 15 students;
7. Simultaneous interpretation - 15 students;
8. Literary translation - 7 students;
9. Scientific and technical translation - 7 students;
10. Comparative linguistics, linguistic translation studies (English language) - 13 students;
11. Linguistics (Uzbek language) - 30 students;
In the 2022-2023 academic year, the university has 11 educational areas at the master's level. The Uzbek language and literature course has the largest number of students, that is, 91 students, while the Higher Literature course has accepted the least - 8 students. Currently, the total number of students studying at the master's level is 383, of which 307 are girls and 76 are boys.

4. Folklore and dialectology - 31 students;
5. Text and literary source studies - 57 students;

3.1. Acceptance of students on the basis of state grant and payment contract
The number of students admitted in the 2021-2022 academic year is 1,680.
• 85 of them are boys, 1595 are girls;
• The total number of students accepted on the basis of the state grant - 310;
• 35 boys studying on the basis of a state grant;
• 275 girls studying on the basis of a state grant.
The acceptance of students on the basis of state grant and payment contract is a fundamental practice in TSUULL.
State Grant: Our university and governments offer scholarships or grants to students based on their academic merit, financial need, or other criteria. Students who are accepted on a state grant are typically exempted from paying tuition fees or are provided with financial assistance to cover their educational expenses. The number of state grant spots available may be limited, and competition for them can be high.
Payment Contract: In contrast, accepting students on a payment contract means that the students are required to pay tuition fees or other educational expenses for the programs they enroll in. In this case, students are not eligible for financial assistance or exemptions. Payment contracts are generally available to a larger number of students, as they are not limited by specific grants or scholarships.
The number of students admitted in the 2022-2023 academic year, amounting 1869 students:
• Of these: 96 boys, 1773 girls;
• The total number of students admitted on the basis of the state grant: 344;
• Boys studying on the basis of a state grant: 41;
• Girls studying on the basis of a state grant: 303 students.
3.2. Graduates
The number of graduates of Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in the academic year 2021-2022 was 1056. Of these, boys: 251: female students: 805 students.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, a total of 1174 students graduated from the university's bachelor's degree.
• Of these, boys: 279;
• Of these, girls: 895.
3.3. Women receiving financial assistance and government support
Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature pays special attention not only to the quality of education students receive, but also to their mental and material conditions. Each year, students, especially women, who study at the bachelor's and master's level are financially supported by the state. Below are the statistics of this support for the 2022-2023 academic year.
• 240 women whose fees for master's degree were reimbursed from the state budget;
• 27 women who received financial assistance.
Scholarships and Grants: government will provide scholarships and grants specifically targeting women. These funding opportunities can help cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other educational costs.
Student Loan: government and organizations offer student loans with favorable terms and conditions for women. These loans may have lower interest rates or flexible repayment options to support women's educational pursuits.
Financial Aid Programs: Governments may provide financial aid programs that offer financial assistance based on a woman's financial need. These programs can help cover a portion of the educational expenses, including tuition, books, and materials.
Subsidized Education and Training Programs: Government may subsidize the cost of educational and training programs for women to make them more affordable and accessible. These programs can include vocational training, skill development courses, and opportunities for career advancement.
3.3. Women receiving financial assistance and government support to help them to complete their studies

Undergraduate programs cover a broad range of subjects and provide a foundational education in a particular field, such as Uzbek language, Uzbek literature, Comparative literature studies, hybrid linguistics and translation studies, Literary theory, Text and literary source studies, Theory of language and computer linguistics, Theory and methodology of education and upbringing (by fields). Students take a variety of courses across disciplines, gaining a general understanding of their chosen field. Doctoral students, however, focus on a specific area of research within their field. They conduct in-depth research, contribute to knowledge in the field, and usually complete a dissertation or thesis.
3.4. Information about students studying in basic doctoral studies (phd) in the section of specialization codes
Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature has 7 different directions in the form of basic doctoral education. Below are statistics on the number of students in the section of specialization codes of this stage:
1. 10.00.01 - Uzbek language - 10 students;
2. 10.00.02 - Uzbek literature - 17 students;
3. 10.00.06 - Comparative literature studies, hybrid linguistics and translation studies - 27 students;
4. 10.00.07 - Literary theory - 1 student;
5. 10.00.10 - Text and literary source studies - 6 students;
6. 10.00.11 - Theory of language and computer linguistics - 14 students;
7. 13.00.02 - Theory and methodology of education and upbringing (by fields) - 9 students.
Admission Requirements: Students who wish to pursue basic doctoral studies typically need to have completed a master's degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field. Students work closely with a faculty advisor or supervisor to define their research topic, develop methodologies, collect and analyze data, and ultimately produce a dissertation.

Duration: The duration of basic doctoral studies can vary significantly depending on the field of study and the research progress of the student. On average, it takes around four to six years to complete a basic doctoral program, although some students may take longer to finish their research and dissertation.
Funding: Our university and research institutions offer financial support to students in basic doctoral studies. This support may include stipends, scholarships, or teaching or research assistant positions. Students may also be eligible to apply for external grants or fellowships to support their research.
Career Prospects: Completing basic doctoral studies opens up a range of career opportunities. Graduates often pursue academic careers as professors or researchers in universities, while others may work in research and development positions in industries, government agencies, or non-profit organizations. Some graduates also choose to work in consulting, policy-making, or entrepreneurship.
