On March 1, 2023, the contest "The best handwriting owner" was held among the students of the Uzbek Language and Literature Faculty of Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. This competition on Arabic calligraphy was organized by Nigora Sulaimanova, associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, in which about 50 students actively participated with their creative works written in beautiful and elegant Arabic script.

At the beginning of the event, the participants were given interesting information about the Arabic script, its history and today. The teachers supported the efforts of the students to learn the basics of the art of beautiful writing and expressed hope that they would achieve high results in the art of calligraphy as worthy successors of the great calligraphers in the future.

The winners of the competition were awarded with certificates and valuable gifts.
